Kiss Phone Concept

Mobile phones allow us to send text messages, images, video clips and songs to other users, and eventually to call, but what about kisses? The problem was solved by  Georges Koussouros, who designed the Kiss Phone.

The handset comes with a pair of “digital lips,” that can detect speed, pressure, temperature and force of the user who will kiss. After the kiss was recorded, it will be sent to another of Kiss Phone and replicated on the receiver’s phone.

In addition, you can even “save” kisses for future uses. There is even an idea for online database of kisses, including even the lips of celebrities, that if the stars will agree to give their kisses to anyone.

Skype Rival Offers Free Phone Numbers

Skype users are familiar with “SkypeIn”, which allows the purchase of a phone number that can be used on any network. But VoxOx, a new service offered by  TeleCentris will provide free numbers to all its users.
The service also offers other options like Skype’s, instant messaging, SMS, VoIP, fax.
VoxOx interface resembles that of the iPhone phone, with icons for each type of application

Nokia completes OZ Communications acquisition

Espoo, Finland - Nokia announced today that it has completed its acquisition of OZ Communications Inc, a privately held company with approximately 220 employees and headquartered in Montreal, Canada. The deal was initially announced on September 30, 2008.

By acquiring OZ, Nokia will address the fast growing consumer messaging market by providing an affordable mass market email and instant message platform for Nokia Series 40 devices, complementing the existing portfolio of mobile messaging solutions for Nokia S60 devices.

Apple to reduce iPhone production

Despite a very good quarter for the iPhone, Apple could reduce the production of the device.

A survey by analyst Craig Berger of FBR Capital Markets shows that Apple has reduced orders for 3G iPhone up to 40% for the last quarter of the year, compared with orders for the third quarter.
It is possible that the demand for the iPhone suffers because of the decrease in the entire world economy.

Google Makes PDF Searchable

Till now, google rarely included scanned documents in it’s search engine. This is mostly because it couldnt determine the content in these files, so they would be almost useless for the people who searched with Google.
